Susanto Megaranto (born 8 October 1987) is an Indonesian chess Grandmaster. He became the youngest Indonesian GM ever at 17, beating out Utut Adianto's record by four years. In 2004 he tied for 2nd-3rd with Eugenio Torre in the SEA Games in Vietnam. In the same year he tied for first with Mark Paragua in the Singapore Masters Open and won the event on tie-break. In 2007 he tied for 3rd-8th with Abhijit Kunte, Zhao Jun, Wen Yang, Darwin Laylo and Zhou Jianchao in the Asian Chess Championship. In 2008, he tied for 3rd-7th with Marat Dzhumaev, Darwin Laylo, Dra┼żen Sermek and Ashot Nadanian in the 5th Dato' Arthur Tan Malaysia Open Championship in Kuala Lumpur and tied for 3rd-6th with Nguyen Anh Dung, Sadikin Irwanto and Magesh Chandran Panchanathan in the Kuala Lumpur Open. On the July 2009 FIDE list, he has an Elo rating of 2534.

Cerdas Barus (born 1 January 1961 in Karo, North Sumatra) is an Indonesian chess Grandmaster (2004). In 2002 he came second at Surabaya. In 2011 he won the Telin Chess International Tournament in Jakarta. He played for Indonesiain the Chess Olympiads of 1984, 1988, 1990, 1994, 1996, 2000 and 2002 (individual gold medal at third board).

Zhang Zhong born September 5, 1978 in Chongqing) is a Chinese chess grandmaster who now plays for Singapore. In 1998, he became China's 9th Grandmaster.
